The Source Bulk Foods, Fairfield, is a bulk foods store in Townsville, North Queensland. Who sell health foods, pantry staples, snacks and confectionery, cleaning products and more. They promote a plastic-free and low waste lifestyle, allowing customers to bring their own jars and only buy what they need.
The Business Owner and Store Manager felt they didn't have the skills required to successfully market the business on social media. They had tried in the past and found it difficult, and felt the content wasn't reaching their target audience.
They contacted me to inquire about social media management and paid advertising, to give their business a new start and have a strong online presence. Ultimately they decided on my 'Foundation' social media management package, with an additional custom request for paid advertising.
SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING PLAN
As an established national brand, I first had to understand the brand and work within their guidelines. Social media content was created for Facebook and Instagram under four key pillars: Brand Awareness, Relate and Engage, Showcase Products, and Promotions. In consultation with the Store Owner, we planned weekly product sampling days in-store that would be promoted on social media, with the aim of getting new customers in-store.
RESULTS SNAPSHOT
The first 90 days of results on both Facebook & Instagram showed a large increase in both reach and likes, with Facebook reach increasing by 6300%, and Instagram reach by 2300%.
